In this school I will share my knowledge on how to create a multi coloured woodblock print such as you see. Some printmaking experience is helpful but not essential.

I will take you through

  • transferring the image to the blocks
  • carving the woodblocks
  • inking the print
  • using registration to create multiple layers of colour
  • paper type
  • ink type
  • tools to use

Hi, i I am Tina Moore.

I have been a printmaker for over twenty years dabbling in solar plate etching, lino cut and now woodblock. I also print fabric and leather.

I live in rural South Australia close to Spencer Gulf where we go out sailing. I draw my inspiration from the seascape and landscape where I live, but also from coastal Victoria.

I have run many printmaking workshops both here in my home and at other venues. I would love to share some of the knowledge I have acquired over many years of practice and experimentation. I am passionate about printmaking especially multi coloured woodblock. I sell my work on Etsy, Bluethumb and privately through my website. https://tinamooreprintmaker.wordpress.com

links to Etsy and Bluethumb can be found there.
